A Summer Wedding at The Mount, Lenox MA

If you ever get the chance to attend, photograph a wedding or are looking for an incredible estate to host your wedding, The Mount in Lenox MA in the heart of the Berkshires should be at the top of your list. Edith Wharton's estate in the Berkshires is one of those venues that speaks for itself- ivy-covered pergolas, a manicured sunken garden, interiors that look like a film set. It's the kind of place that makes every frame feel intentional.

Jill wore a gown by Sarah Seven, a clean, sculptural gown, with that signature open back and a train that was made for stone terraces. The flowers were bold and colorful: hot pink anthuriums, dahlias, trailing amaranthus. Evan's mom is an artist, and she created the invitation suite and signage by hand. The invitations were even styled on pages from Wharton's own novels.

As a New York wedding photographer who spends a good amount of time shooting in the Berkshires, I can say this one sits high on the list. Golden hour through those ivy arches, cake cutting in Wharton's dining room, a couple who were genuinely having the best day - it doesn't get much better.
